Urbamed has completed the restoration works of the promenade along the Sant Nicolau river in Gandía. restitución del paseo junto al río Sant Nicolau de Gandía.

El pasado lunes 6 de noviembre, en el lugar de las obras referidas, se efectuó la recepción de la obra por parte de Urbamed al Ayuntamiento de Gandía. 

The restoration works provide citizens with a safe and comfortable pedestrian walkway, with a green area and safe access to the jetty next to the river. The pedestrian walkway was badly damaged as a result of a strong storm. 

Among the works that have been carried out are the following:

• Dismantling of street furniture and signage.
• Demolitions
• Earth moving
• Driving of sheet piles
• Construction of breakwater, foundations and walls.
• Execution of the drainage network and drains in accordance with the new road layout.
•  Paving.
• Replacement and extension of the existing luminaires with LED lighting with less light pollution.
• Urban furniture to equip the area.

Al acto acudieron el Director Técnico de Obra Civil por parte de Urbamed, Julián Oter, Jonás Durá como Director de Obra, Iñaki Belda como Arquitecto Municipal, Josep Blasco y Toni Calabuig por parte del Ayuntamiento, la Responsable de Contratación del Ayuntamiento de Gandía y el Interventor Municipal Andrés Javier Ferrer.
